Stable Management Classes

The non-riding activities at our first Summer Day Camp were such a success that we offered similar activities on four mornings in November.  Over the four sessions, participants learned how to clean tack, received a more detailed course on horse grooming, learned about proper feeding of horses and even learned how to bake up a batch of cookies that the horses could eat!  The horses really appreciated that session.

Check out our Calendar of Events to find out when you can sign up for our next stable management class!

Summer Day Camps

Our first Summer Day Camp was held over three day in August of 2006.  We had 8 riders from the community participate.  Riders ranged in age from 7 to 11 years old and in skill level from never having ridden before to having had 6 months of lessons.  Participants rode, learned how to take care of a horse, decorated their horses and took home a wonderful horseshoe keepsake.

Keep an eye on the Calendar of Events to find out when you can sign up for our next summer camp!
