Clear Blue Recycling is a recycling program ran as part of the 8th Avenue Day Program in association with Columbia Bottle Recycling.  Clear Blue Recycling is located on the corner of 8th Ave. and Canyon St.  They service our local community and businesses.  If you want to have recycling removed from your home or business please call 428-7467.

NOW PROVIDING TWICE MONTHLY CURBSIDE PICKUP

Clear Blue Recycling is offering curbside pick up on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month.

The cost for the service is $5 per pickup (limit 2 bags plus cardboard).  Customers are billed for three months at a time unless otherwise requested.

Materials should be placed in separate clear blue bags as follows:

In one bag place:

• Clean Glass jars and bottles – remove lids (labels may remain on)
•  Clean Tin and Aluminum cans (do not crush), and metal lids – No scrap metal (Labels may be left on).
• Any clean plastic with the #’s 1-6 inside the small recycle triangle also clean plastic bags. Crush containers to reduce volume.

In the second bag place:

• Newspaper, Magazines, Scrap Paper, Box Board (cereal boxes etc.)
• Corrugated cardboard. Please break down boxes to reduce volume.
  **Please – no Styrofoam**

Containers should be placed at curbside by 9:00 am on pickup days.
